    I would frame it with a mid-sized frame in black. It will keep your eyes back from searching for more.

    I LOVE this! Makes me want to make to make one for myself. The pieced background looks like a version of the "Illusions" pattern? I have sunflower applique patterns that would work nicely. Thanks for the inspiration ... great job!

    I love the putting together of the modern Illusion quilt with the sunflowers - really different and unique. I might add a small white border to the top and bottom (to match the right side) and then finish it with continuing the batik around it. Perhaps the other three sides of batik narrower to match the white border. This would frame it out but still keep the accent on the sunflowers. But, whatever you choose, please post a pic.
