No sewing for me today although I did work with fabric from 9:30 to 3:30.
The baby charity where I volunteer received a huge donation of chenille and minky so I helped cut and fold the chenille. I am glad I took my 60mm rotary cutter and an extra blade to cut the layers of chenille. Frequent breaks were needed. Lol!
I stopped at my LQS on the way home and supported them with a small purchase.

I got a late start what with finishing up my closet cleaning project, going the store and playing with my new Juki. But I did get my pillow from the Dogs in Sweaters block that I made. I pieced in on my Featherweight several weeks ago and just quilted it on my new Juki! Such fun!

Tomorrow I plan to work on the Professional Tote I've been making and maybe start to cut the pieces for the Dogs In Sweaters quilt.

I had a fun and productive day today. I spent the day with my Quilts For Kids sewing group. I sandwiched 3 quilts, tops I made last week for QFKs, and cut kits for our group. I enjoy making the quilt kits. I also worked on a new quilt. My plan for tomorrow is to finish cutting the quilt kits and finish my block swap blocks. Happy sewing everyone.

Wow you guys are amazing! I managed to get all but three of my blocks for my Christmas Lights BH Mystery Quilt sewn together and did some scrap handling. Tomorrow is going to be the same chores. Plus I have some cutting to do for a new start. Should make good progress as tomorrow's meals will be leftover corned beef and cabbage.

Love the dachshund pillow Cashs Mom!
just a little sewing for me yrpesteeday, made a stitched tag (all on my new to me sweet sixteen) for an art piece that I ned to deliver today, and stitched a label onto the art quilt thatks going up to MQX in New Hampshire and then worked on a clothesline bowl. Spent the rest of the day finding new places for all the stuff that I took out of the sewing room (and piled on my working tables in the other studio) to make space for the SS. Oh, and taking the BUbster for his afternoon walkLOL
Today I want to finish the clothesline bowl and settle on a UFO that I can get finished fairly quickly.

I'm also getting ready to go to a quilt retreat this coming Wednesday thru Sunday up in Milford, IA. Got 3 projects all ready to go so now I've turned on my quilt machine to see if its still working. Its been since last June since I used it. Got one small wallhanging quilted yesterday and working on the little wallhanging (1 block) that goes with it. Had to go back into my program to shrink the patterns to fit so will finish it either tonight or Monday. Then will start on the next table runner as its small, I know I can't get it finished before I leave on Wednesday morning. Then I'll vacumn and dust the sewing room so it will be all ready for me when I get home on Sunday. Also arranged my Allietaire blocks up on the design wall and have starched the border fabrics so will get them pressed before I leave. I decided to add a gold/grey/gold combo before the final black outer border to add to the size.
