Very pretty quilt! When I did mine, the math did not work out for me to have them meet so this is what I did ...

jillmc, that is a lovely idea.
Logistics may be why D's quilt has the eagle blocks in the opposite corners. That, plus the fact that an eagle has meaning to him and I had to get them in somewhere.

When I surrounded a center medallion with FG, I left the corners a blank square of fabric (well triangle in my case because it was set on point) because I didn't like the look of the FG just flying off the end.

Here is a pic before the quilt was completed

Oh my word-this is gorrr-jussss Feline!!!
I think I need to do something with my corners...either blank square or 4patch or square in square-it looks too busy on my quilt to have a continuous FG border.....the math, however is killin me! Haha...

Beautiful quilt! I just finished a flying geese border. I used a square in a square set on point for the corners.
