I look for the like button too but its so much nicer to read a comment isnt it? Carol, it is awsome and given me an idea. My granddaughter gave me 2 box fulls of her kids toddler clothes and asked me to make a "Wagga" for them. Until now, I havent been inspired. A Wagga is a blanket made of anything, old woollen jumpers , wheat bags old clothing, anything at all to sew together to make a blanket. originated about 1930 during the depression.

I've made a couple of waggas--both from wool blends. I enjoyed the process--no pattern, just sewing!

Wow Carol, that quilt is really beautiful. Flannel is really warm, what kind of batting did you use?

I'm still working on the extra blocks to make the top bigger. I'm hoping to get everything sewn together yet this week.

I have been lurking and sneaking peaks at all of your beautiful finishes. Lov'in all of the photos and what varied quilts that came from our scrap bins! Tomorrow is my day to return to our mystery quilt. I need to re-orient my brain to this pattern but I know I have all of the pieces ready. My baby quilt for Saturday is finished except for the label and the final little stitching on the binding. Ah, now I can relax. Next baby doesn't arrive until June. I can breathe for a while.

Carol, I really really like the way your flannels worked in this quilt! It is beautiful. As to your question, I am tempted to say no to the flannels for next week's mystery. Remember I said there would be a lot of HSTs? But, your choice, I am not saying don't do it, saying I wouldn't. (Hope this didn't come out as too rude)
