    Do you know if you close your plastic bags almost all the way (leave 1/2" approx) open and lay it on the edge of a table and press on the bag then zip it all the way shut you will be able to push most of the air out. This saves a lot of room and leaves space for taking more. We are going on a retreat the end of the month and there will be four of us in a small van and we need all the space we can find. Last year we had so much stuff we could not see out the back windows, we had stuff packed to the ceiling and every nook and cranny. Going to try to do better this year.
