Yes! As soon as I saw the post title, I thought "must be someone from Minnesota!" Our porch windows are south facing, and with the sunshine today they were all over! Love to figure out how they get in!! The porch has 13 windows, all sealed up tight, but they still find a way!

My daughter was plagued with them, and her hubby found a way to eliminate them. Then due to a water-in-the-basement issue, they removed the tree. So obviously, no more elderbug infestation. If you need to know how he eliminated them (he's an anti-pesticide man), let me know in a PM and I will find out for you.

No elder bugs, lady bugs and stink bugs are all out here. I have a pest control contract but still see those. I had a box elder tree removed and that helped but not enough. I live in a wooded area which is wrong for a person ( like me) who hates bugs!

Ladybugs are red w/black dots. You probably are talking about Asian beetles, they are orange w/spots. They stink and bite.

I had one on my south facing kitchen window yesterday. I agree it's too early to see one especially since the snow only has been gone for a week.
I do have a pest company come out a couple times a year and it seems to help.
