A great accomplishment!!! It is so satisfying to complete something and watch the joy when it is received. Great job! Keep on keeping on!

Beautifully done! I really like how all the colors just pop out at you with that black background.

Congratulations!!! Looks beautiful! Reminds of the designs that I used to make with my Spirograph when I was young

Congrats on your first big quilt!

" I sent it out to be quilted as I just don't have that skill set yet. "

You will never get that skill set until you start quilting all of your own quilts. A famous teacher (can't remember which...) said the only way to get good at quilting is to quilt all of your own quilts. The first ones won't be perfect, but it's the only way to learn. Good luck!

That’s what popped into my brain when I saw the beautiful embroidery. Congratulations on a wonderful finish.

What a fabulous finish indeed. Doesn't it make you feel great that you accomplished it? Step back and admire and now that your confidence is boosted, you can attack the others. It is an addicting hobby. The only way to improve is to stretch your knowledge and try something new. Good luck and can't wait for your future posts.

Wonderful first quilt that I bet your son loves! The sharon schambers how to bind a quilt video reall helped me a lot.
[h=3]I think it would be especially helpful with binding a large quilt by machine because the glue holds it in place.[/h]
