Congratulations on the new job!

I have all my blocks pretty much completed, except...

I still need to learn to embroider a simple straight line stitch for the cow and donkey blocks. After I complete the tails (and eyes and nostrils for the cows), I'll be ready to square them up and ship them out! I haven't decided if I'll just go with black for the tails or if I'll look for some coordinating thread instead. I guess if I buy multiple colors I can always make some quick friendship bracelets with the rest (my niece might like some).

OK we are about 4 weeks away from deadline. I will send out next Friday. Do we know how many are participating? I will be sewing this weekend, finishing up a few details. Looking forward to this swap, this will be for a little one in our family.

Hi ladies just checking in. I am back in Fort worth, came to check on my fur babies. Dad is in good spirits and I am happy that I am getting to spend this time with him.

GracefulAnn I am doing them in different colors, they are looking nice.....I hope. Congrats on the new job.

Thank you ladies of the sweet comments and to our hostess for working with me.

Have a great day all.

I bought some cotton embroidery thread, needles, and a small hoop today. Now I just need to teach myself how to embroider a straight line so I can add those tails!

Okay, the hungry little bunnies are finished. Now on to frolicking sheep.

Cute bunnies!

I've successfully embroidered tails onto almost all my cows and donkeys, and plan to finish the blocks up tonight. I'm not confident enough in my embroidery skills to attempt to embroider eyes or nostrils, so I hope no one minds!

If I can get it all done tonight, I should be able to mail everything out next week

No problem, if they look like they need them, I'm sure we can all add them if we want.

OMG! I've been MIA for over a week ladies and I am so sorry. I see y'all have been busy and I adore those little bunnies! We start testing tomorrow at the elem school where I work and it's crazy busy. Just 9 days left of school and hopefully, I'll get to relax.

I bought a piece of upholstery weight fabric (which I never do) to cover a bulletin board in my office. The only reason I didn't use cotton? Not wide enough! Rats! I should have just made a wall hanging to cover it up but I'll plan something later.

I will post this weekend my last blocks and I hope they will be up to par. If you are ready to mail, PM me and I will give you my address since we are getting close to the deadline.

I can't wait to see all the blocks!!
