A lot of the children in the class come from disadvantaged families and don’t have much. I like to give them something that they can keep and is just theirs. When the crayons and journals go on sale, I buy enough to fill them all up.

That is super cute and colorful. Many children must want to be in her class. You are a treasure to the children and your daughter in law also. Keep up the good work, your are smart to get an early start, September will be here before we know.

All of them are beautiful. Kids like to have something that is just for themselves.

I make quilts for kids in foster care. Most are taken out of the home for various reasons. Usually only the clothes they have on their backs. At Christmas time there is a big party of donated items they get. Quilts, blankets and such are requested.
