Connie, last year one of the LQS did the Deb Tucker block of the month. We learned a new Deb Tucker tool or technique each month. I really feel it improved my quilting and accuracy tremendously. This year the block of the month is a pattern by one of Deb's certified instructors. We use the techniques and tools we learned last year. I'm making blocks with many more pieces than I'm accustomed to but loving it!

I was at my LQS tonight for a BOM and the new ruler for tonight was Corner Beam from Deb Tucker. I am excited to have this ruler so will probably play around with some fabric and make some scrappy blocks along with making my block for next month's class.

Boston: Very pretty.

Okay guys, I'm in too! I am piecing batting together so I can quilt 2 baby quilts. I'm almost done sewing the batting and then will load the quilts on today. If I can figure out how to load pictures, I'll post at the end of the long weekend. Happy sewing.....stay safe! P.S. I'm also going to look into that Honor Flight Quilt posted above. I do Quilts of Valor and am always looking for patterns.

I found time to piece & fuse a bonus block to a BOM I am participating in at Sew Incredibly Crazy. Hope to stitch it down this weekend.

I'm in! I"m going to try to get my Dogs in Sweaters quilt quilted. After much trial and error, I ripped all the straight quilting out and decided to FMQ the whole thing. If I get that finished and have time, I'm going to start cutting for my String Me Along quilt.

I'm working on a blue and white Jacob's Ladder quilt bed quilt. I haven't decided yet what size it will be!

I'm in. Sorting and cutting scraps all weekend as I just found three more ziplocks full. Why do I do that? Once that is done I can start a new quilt TBD (to be decided).

I'm in! I have binding to finish on one quilt - needs to be done by May 31. And I'd better get my act together and do my block party block, since that's tomorrow morning. Then on the list are 2 blocks for the Summer Sampler (already 2 weeks behind ). And if all that happens, and I get my customer quilts done, I'll finish the backing for my 2 Canada 150 quilts.

Got the first top quilted and off the frame. I sorted what I have out there and have 9 that I'm ok with giving away so those will get done first. Not sure if I want to part with the others, sometimes I have to have it around for a while, and then I get less attached and can rehome them.

I am going to a family reunion this summer and plan on taking a load of quilts with me. Need to go sort through what is in the closet to see what I want to take with.

I finished the two BOM blocks and assembled a quilt top from a 2017 BOM. I tried attaching pictures but for some reason it will only insert the first picture. It's been a productive day! Now it's time to watch the Yankees. After grocery shopping tomorrow, I'll cut the strips for the class I'm taking next week. Glad to see everyone so hard at work!

aArtsyOne....
I like what you've got. To me, all the design elements are roughly the same size. The tiny tree introduces a different size. Do you have or can get more of your favorite fabric. this could be a large size to contrast with the med size pieces.
