I love this quilt! I was so surprised to see a picture of it. I purchased this quilt kit 3 years ago from a local quilt shop and just this past week I decided it was time to get it done. I wanted to make it into a king size, and thought I had purchased enough fabric to do so. But when I started cutting, I realized I was one yard short of the white. I went to the quilt store hoping to find one yard, ( but what would be the chances after three years??? of finding more of this fabric).
Things were in my favor! The clerk helped me find the last two half yard cuts of this fabric (it was a white batik). It was enough to get all the pieces I needed. I’m looking forward to having this on our bed this summer!

What a gorgeous quilt! You did a wonderful job. Blue is my favorite color.
I've sent quilts to Missouri Star and have always been happy with their work.

I've recently fallen in love with Japanese quilts of all kinds and fabrics too! What a lovely quilt-so elegant! Can't wait to see your lap quilt.
