Very unique idea. I would not cover them with anything until you are ready to walk out the door. Moisture from brownies may mess up your design.

Our friends loved the design. The wife's daughter quilts so she was familiar with what a stencil is. The brownies were Betty Crocker Fudge Molten Lava Brownie Mix & were delicious....especially warmed up with vanilla ice cream on top. (yum)

Very nice! I have done the powdered sugar and doily in the past.Makes a cake look "dressed up" esp. where icing could be too messy
