Thank you! I decided to pick a more complicated block to slow myself down! I am roaring through my F8s way too fast and too soon the fun will be over!

Beautiful block Sew..I love that block. I'm going to have to check out the 1000 block book. I have all the 100 block magazines but Ive used them so much they aren't in perfect condition! They are also numbered different than the 1000 book is. I haven't had time to sew much this week but did get a couple cut out and ready. Hope to get to it this weekend. The heat index is going to be 110 Saturday so sounds like a good day to stay inside and sew!!

Oh! I got my numbers from the magazines.... I just mentioned the book because it seemed that 's what most people have. Warning: The Rosy Red pattern (swoon block) I made for Libster is missing some instructions and at least one of the measurements is wrong. It's a figure-it-out-as-you-go pattern!

Stafar, your block is perfect! The red wavy lines and wow polka dots certainly compliment each other.

DarcyShannon, fantastic blocks! Love how the diamond shapes all line up nicely and match perfectly with the paisley fabric. Great start!!

SBG, your squirrel block is adorable. The placement of those squirrels are flawless. Libsters block is beautiful. The fussy cut and placement of flowers makes this block amazing.

I am loving all the "new to me" patterns being used.
Boys went fishing. DGD is making chocolate chip cookies and I got to make a block. Both grands put their two cents into color placement. When I saw the fabric and realized that there were cherries in the glass I actually ran to my stash and found the perfect red cherries to go with it. One name for the block is Kings Crown

Wow! Thank you so much for such a beautiful block, I love what you did there with the squirrels, and with froggie peeking out.

Stafar, your block for TG looks very well made and it's so patriotic!

DarcyShannon, love your two blocks. What a great choice of fabric you put with Terri's paisley! I struggled with that choice and the fabric I ended up using overpowers her paisley (I think.) Your companion fabric is just perfect!

Here are my two done today:

Puddle Jumper for PamelaOry. It's block #975 in the 1000 blocks series. Pamela, thanks for giving me such beautiful fabrics to work with!

Red Rosy for Libster... but not red! It's block #780 in the 1000 blocks series. To me, this is a Swoon block.
