Michael Connolly - I always enjoy his books. Thanks to everyone for answering Tartan's e-mail - several authors I havn't read yet. Another author I have enjoyed is Nalini Singh's Arch Angel series - futuristic but so good. Her imagination is mind-boggling....

I read a couple of books in Ernest Dempsey’s Sean Wyatt series. They were well researched and enjoyable reading. I learned a lot I didn’t know about Native American history, historical sites, and lore.

I’ve reread some of the books in Thomas Perry’s Jane Whitefield series because I like them that much. Vanishing Act was particularly good.

Sue Grafton has died. Y is for Yesterday is the final book in the Alphabet series. Sorry no Z. Alphabet series has ended.

Love this thread! I love to read and check out the books from the local library. I am reading "Crooked Staircase" by Dean Koontz...love it! I also like Marry Higgins Clark, Nicci French (Frieda Klein mysteries), Karin Slaughter, and Jonathan Kellerman. But, Dean Koontz is my favorite!

Sue Grafton's last book is Y is for Yesterday. I bought it a while back but can't make myself begin reading it because I know it is the last one. Her family made the comment after her passing, "as far as we are concerned, the alphabet ends with Y." I enjoyed every book she wrote and her main character Kinsey Milhoune. Mystery lovers have lost a great friend.
