Oh crud! For those of you who get a bag with no name on it.....yipes…..that would be from your friendly, yet air-headed leader.
I found the pile of labels on the counter this afternoon.
Mercy. What a dunce!

I don't know where my head's been lately!
I think this is a symptom of not being in my sewing room long or often enough. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
I have off tomorrow, so I am going up to our cottage early (leaving after work tonight). Hubby will join me tomorrow night when he gets off of work. I plan on spending the entire day in my sewing room. I'd like to get my SIL's quilt on the frame, a table runner (for a guild exchange in Dec.) finished, or at least far enough to only need binding, and my secret pal's gift for August completed.
I'm going to be using some of my florals and batik's for the one my pal will be getting. I found the cutest little pattern and they will work out beautifully!
What's under your needle? Anything with our charms?
ps: I'll most likely post next month's swap either Sunday or Monday. Stay tuned!

Yeah! your swaps arrived yesterday! So many beautiful flowers. Now I'm on the lookout for a pattern that I can use these without cutting them up. There have been patterns shown here in the past couple of weeks. Now to go hunting for them. I'll be leaving feedback later today.
Thank you all, this was a beautiful swap.

I am one of the newbies that didn’t get her charms out on time. I just want to thank everyone for keeping me in the swap. It won’t happen again I promise!!
I received my charms yesterday and was so excited to see all the beautiful florals!! I just keep going through them trying to decide what to do with them. I can’t wait to see what everyone creates with theirs!!
This was my first swap but it won’t be my last!! I don’t have any suggestions because the ones that have been suggested all sound good.

Lol, I'm just getting used to navigating this site,,so you can imagine my surprise when I tried to make an appreciative post yesterday & then thought I had done so in error, so I tried to delete it. Amazingly, this morning, it showed up where it should be.

I'm glad people are so happy with their charms! I, was, too. I almost didn't participate because I wasn't sure I'd like them...so so So glad I did!
janet, I didn't know dsenters was your sister! How cool is that to have a partner in crime to visit LQS together! I wish I had a sister, but God gave me a few good friends with similar tastes, so they're my "sista from anotha mista!" Love them dearly. So glad she brought you to the quilting board family.
We have another set of sisters, too. Crispy Frog and her sister Therese.

hav4: that would be me. Your empty headed leader. I am so embarassed.
This is as bad as when I had my daughter helping me cut charms only to find out they weren't 100% 5". That was embarassing, too! (and if any of you have those, please contact me, I am More than happy to replace!)
