Tartan, I prefer the black. I don't know anything about using Sharpies but if that works maybe do it?

My vote is for taking out that stitching. I think you will be happier in the long run.

Okay, the consensus is to remove the grey. If I was using 100% cotton thread I might try the sharpie. I am using a blend so it would probably not “take” with a sharpie.

I second this idea. I have done this to hide tiny dots of color onto the back lately too. No mater how careful you are, they is the proof I am not perfect! LOL!

Instead of picking it out if you like the black better just go over it with a sharpie

This is my thought too. If you leave it, if you are anything like me, it would haunt you. Just sit down, pour a glass of something, and just take it out carefully. You know you will be happier for it. Next time, make a test piece and save your sanity. Lol.

I know that picking stitches out is a long tedious thing to to...i removed four rows yesterday, but I would remove the gray and go with the black instead.

Do you have a piece of the fabric that you could sew with the grey and use the sharpie (something I have never heard of before) so you can see if it works on your thread? Otherwise rip it out.
