Pretty block, Janice... and cute doggie! He (she) reminds me of Petey on the Little Rascals.

Hi Wavies! Thought I'd share this quilt I just finished, out of my Rowan fabric collection.

Lovely quilting. What did you use for batting?

Petey was a pit bull too only his “goggles”’were drawn on. Lol. Fun little fact, my FIL and his brother were in some of the earliest Our Gang comedies though we never spotted them. They were both child actors.

Good to see you relaxing after treatments Jaba. Blocks are nice.

Beautiful quilt, and nice gifting.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Hubby getting better and has an appointment Friday for his hyennal hernia. We shall see what they will do there. He came home from being out of town last Friday and a total different attitude. Was a nice relief.

Now my bad news, have some bleeding fizzures to be taken care of, when to foot doctor and have to go thru surgery again, then $4,500 for teeth. Live is just the most wonderful it could ever be.

The best part, I went shopping for fabrics for blocks this am and have something for everyone of the blocks. Now what are they odds?

I used a 100% poly batting that has about a 1/2" loft. I buy it on the roll from Marshall's Dry Goods. I really love it, tho it's not the easiest to work with. (You have to compress it down flat with your hands as you quilt.) Makes a lighter quilt than cotton or 80/20.

How cool that your FIL and his brother were "Our Gang" kids!? I grew up on those films.
