Beautiful quilt with an age old technique. Love the tone on tone blue fabric on the dolphins as it really adds some movement. Glad you decided to enter and receive the recognition you deserve. It is lovely.

Absolutely beautiful and that is great you won a blue ribbon on your first Hawaiian style quilt. By the way I also make Hawaiian style quilts totally by hand. Kelela

I love your avatar. I am loving Hawaiian quilts and have a second one in the works (another PQRC pattern) I love to work on it in the evening watching TV, but my next venture is to design my own pattern, will probably be a small wall quilt and hopefully my goal is to do a bed size quilt.
