Jayne, I love that block from 1000 blocks. Very nice. I especially like that pop of color in the first one.
QM, wow, you’re moving along with those blocks. Way to go!! Good Luck with your surgery tomorrow. <3
Janice & SBG, OMG!! Already have fabric for Boom 22!! SBG, and cut and bagged!! Crazy girls.

Will anyone be effected by Hurricane Florence? Libster? That hurricane looks terrible.

I have family and friends in Wilmington and Carolina Beach. The friend at Carolina Beach is leaving with her daughter, but her DH refuses to leave. He says he has to stay for the animals and the bees. Even the hospitals are evacuating today. They all need to go south to escape this one. Coming my way won't help much. One path has it coming straight through Charlotte. Ouch!! I remember Hazel in 1954 and Hugo in 1988. Neither of them was as strong as this one. Bad thing is, it's going to stall out and just sit for several days in the same spot before finally moving on. There's no water to be had now. Grocery shelves are getting empty. This one really scares me. If anyone is so inclined, please say a prayer or two for us.

Praying for all that will be in Hurricanes way.
just realizing that it will be four months before I will be able to play with F8's! We all will have to keep this forum going to keep in touch - too much happens in our lives

Oh Libster, I will definitely be sending prayers your way. There have been so many storms lately. They just seem to be getting scarier and scarier.

Although I'm still sewing away (have 6 blocks to go between the two groups), I also have been thinking about boom 22. In continuing with my quilt for every holiday plan, I was going to do St Patty's day, but since we aren't starting until after the new year I'm thinking maybe Easter - or think totally outside the box and go for a crazy holiday like groundhogs day! Wonder if there is groundhog fabric???

Are you sure we have to wait that long Janice?!

Jayne, you are too funny... I don't think I've ever seen groundhogs on fabric, but hedgehogs are 'in'. Maybe we could applique groundhogs?

Jayne, you can always design your own perfect groundhog fabric. I have seen people design fabric based on their pets.

Good evening ladies,

Three more blocks to share! The pattern is Palazzo from the 1000 block books.

First for Joanelizbay

Next is for D. Henson. Unfortunately, it is a Tuesday night - so I didn't get to celebrate the completion of this block with a cocktail...

And finally for Billi -

Beautiful blocks, Jayne. I love this pattern. The addition of a third color in DH’s changes it a lot. Great job!
