I've had a black cook top for 11 years , I use ( weiman cook top max ) micro-bead scrubbing power
it's a past . after you scrub your cook top wipe with a wash cloth get all the polish off .
now wipe with a clean cloth something like a dipper or cotton towel , not bath towel cotton .
you can get this polish at Walmart . cook top as to be cool ,
hope this helps …

I have been married 56 plus years, have always had a white appliances, for a reason. It's my answer to all my friends who keep buying stainless steel and black appliances. They hate cooking because it messes up their appliances. I use soap and hot water, and a quick wipe with a terry towel. Bingo, all clean. Sigh.
