Those blocks came out beautiful Hav4boys. How did you cut and applique the doll and clothes?

Love them, Have4Boys! The cut outs of the paper dolls is too cute! That deer theme of Moonrises is generating some gorgeous blocks. I found these fabric selections tough to pick fabrics for. You make it look effortless.

And here are some more. Joan's snow covered pine trees, Coullmills, you get a disappearing four patch, Jaba a Hunter's Star, and Moonrises deer portraits ..... So I was all excited about my pine trees .... snow covered with a row of snow between them and on the ground. But when I took the picture all I see now are row's of houses in night! Perhaps my trunk was too fat... I'll let you decide, Joan. Moonrise, I love these portraits but I managed an oopsie and ran out of the denim blue fabric so augmented the block, for that 12.5" finish with some of the blue fabric you sent with the other FQ. Forgive my cropping of the pictures.... My camera phone isn't so great... can't get the flash to flash at the right time.

This has been an amazingly creative project for me. Thank you for letting me stretch with your fabrics! One more to go.

I am finished. Sad part is I have made 1-3 blocks a week for the entire swap. Just could not upload the pictures. New laptop did the job! I have to say these fabric were tough. The two color ones are the toughest for me.

As for the next BOOM, I will be observing. Too much to get done. I have 3 weddings to sew the entire bridal party, 36 pairs of jammies to make for a friends daycare by Dec 15, and 3 quilts to do for Christmas. Life is busy and I love it.

Hopefully tomorrow i can get to work on these. Surgery went well, but have to keep it elevated. I have screws that are visible. Three incisions.
