I have used this "bendable light" on my machines for quite a few years now. Easy to install.

I used those rulers and they do make the block quick and accurate. The second one I made I left a 1/4" fray area and I like it better. I may leave 1/2" next time and snip the edges. If you plan on a longarmer quilting it I would suggest using a zig zag to be sure the raw edge won't get caught in the needle. I machine quilted mine. I used a layer cake and charm pack and made the top in one day.

My Tonic table tidy. I only have the main unit, but they make all sorts of attachments. That thing holds a ton and doesn't move. It also won't damage your table, and is very handy for going to classes.

Also my Stripology Squared ruler.

I have that thread holder, too. I got it from Nancy’s Notions.

Connecting Threads use to sell the pretty thread holder. There were several designs to choose from.

I bought mine at Connecting Threads a few years ago. They still have them. A little more expensive but the same one. It's a really heavy piece and I think it's worth the money.

I might put a flower in the middle of lots of plain charms, then sew them together in a pattern.
