Her book is called: Picture Piecing: Creating Dramatic Pictorial Quilts. You can find it on her website www.englanddesign.com

My next projekt is to make a quilt with my old beetle convertible. The pattern is already finished... only freezer paper is still missing...

I love the VW Beetle!!! Drove a few myself...did you make the pattern using her book? I'm working on one of her patterns right now....it is the Southwest (desert and cactus)....so beautiful! I hope you will post a photo of the Bug when it is done!!! Ellen

I have made several of Cynthia Englands designs and I love working with them - like putting a jig saw puzzle together. She has one quilt which is absolutely beautiful that has 20,000 pieces in it. You can all her designs on her website. Your VW will be a real challenge and will be a beauty.

Yeah, what everybody said. :D Your barn is great...making me think of one I have in mind and not even started. I too would love to see the VW when finished. I have wanted one for a long time.

Hey, another German! (I live in England now.) Good to meet you, Winnona! :D

I love your beetle design. Where did you learn to do that?

I agree with all that everyone has said about your work. Thank you so much for sharing. I think I will try the samples on the website you shared. Happy Designing and Quilting!

thanks a lot for your compliments. I become red with so much praise

Presently i am collecting a lot of blue and green fabric for the vw projekt. I ordered it in the internet on Monday, so I have still to wait for the parcels. But i will keep you updated if i can show the first result.

but I have one question: What is a super beetle? In Germany all this type of cars are simply called "Käfer"
