that's a decorative stitch built into my machine.
it would have taken me 3 days per border to do that with a basic blanket stitch. LOL

So ... I showed this at the guild meeting this morning.
More than one person said that from a distance it looks like it has mistakes in it.
one person said it looks like it's coming unraveled.

I came a bit unglued.
they tried to tap dance and make me feel better.
it did not work.

but I like it, so phooey on 'em.

Your're right. I really like this quilt, I think it's really kool. Someone else is going to LOVE this quilt. BrendaK

I really like your quilt. The pin tucks are very nice and add a lot. Also like the idea of the blanket stitch in a border area with the shell design. Very creative.
