How are we coming on the squishies?
The November 2nd In My Hands Deadline is creeping up on us, ladies!
Mine are all cut out and ready to be put into baggies. I was at Joann's yesterday and they had fq's for $0.75! I came "this" close to buying more for the next swap, but decided against it. I want to see what we get first, and then buy different stuff going forward. (nods sagely....)....okay, okay, it was really because I didn't have the time to pick through things for a spy quilt. And I also figured lots of folks can get stuff from there, so I'll try to be the "different" one. (and Lord knows, I certainly qualify as "different" )
Happy cutting folks!

I’m starting to get excited...now I need to decide how I want to make my ispy quilt. I was whining about not having any grand kids to sew one for then realized my husband was having a blast “I-Spying” while helping me pick out fabrics, so I think I’m going to make him one. Any pattern ideas?

I don't make it like with a nine patch, though. I use strip piecing for the sashing with the cornerstone and sash them the the normal way. I've made them both ways, and this was easier for me.
My other favorite is happy blocks. I can't find a good photo online, but it's basically a square in a square with each block sashed in a different bright color.
