Love it!! I have the Creative Grids Hunter's Star ruler and am anxious to try it. just trying to decide whether to do a scrappy or stick to a few colors. After seeing yours I'm now leaning towards scrappy.

Chester's illustration seemed fairly easy. I wanted to try it and my first block looks nice. I will make 3 more and see how the intersections are after sewing them together. As she said, the tricky part is trimming the block to 9-1/2 inches but my large square ruler with the 45 degree mark made it easier. I centered the 45 on the center line of the block and trimmed the edges. Here it is...[ATTACH=CONFIG]603099[/ATTACH]

Thank you so much Tartan for showing everyone the block prior to trimming along with trimming instructions. Now that you have made a block you can see how eyeballing the large triangles to sew them on works fairly well.
