New BOW from Piecing the Past... cutting!
#21
I’m doing it too but am cutting as I go since I’m using my Civil War stash. It will be a bit scrappy but I’m trying to stay true to the colors suggested. I’ve got the first 15 blocks done but know I won’t be able to keep up with her pace. Work drastically cuts into my sewing time! Your blocks look great!

Yours look great, Wildyard! I like the new orange you found. It makes a good contrast.
Julie, I tried to go all Civil War fabs too... but so many of my pieces weren't big enough. So I had to find a few that were just compatible with CW fabs. And I had to shop for my background fabric. I didn't have 3.5 yds of any neutral I liked for this quilt. Please show us your blocks from the first week.
I'm thinking of skipping the wide red border. I don't need the quilt to be quite that huge.

Sewbizgirl, I bet you have an amazing stash...your BOW is going to be great with the colors you’ve shown. I am in awe of the projects you fit into your schedule...including keeping your DH fed. I have finally asked mine to pick at least one or two nights a week to cook dinner. Half the trouble is coming up with new ideas of what to make...
Wildyard, your project seems to be coming together quickly too.
