Default start the new year with scrappies!

The top one is from a McCalls Nov/Dec 2014. The sample was made much larger and the pattern shows up better. Their blocks were 12-1/2", mine are 8-1/2" square, two identical squares to make the big block.
the second one is made from all the oriental scraps I have been accumulating over the years and finally had enough for another quilt.
    Both are for charity.
    Thanks for looking.

I'm thinking that top quilt is a great boys quilt pattern. I'll have to search thru my old magazines to see if I have this pattern. A dear young man that has become a member of our family is marrying a young lady with an 8 yo son and I think this would make a great quilt to give him at the wedding. Thanks for sharing.
