So happy for you and your family! This will be a wonderful quilt to welcome this special baby. I really like Elizabeth Hartman's design. Her animals have so much cute character.

I love this pattern! I was just helping a friend yesterday who was drawing them up in EQ so she could paper piece them. She hasn't begun to sew yet. I had never seen them before but I fell in love with them. They look adorable - can not wait to see your finished quilt!

Congrats on the new addition to your family! He'll be a lucky boy to get a beautiful quilt from Grandma!

Congratulations! New additions are the best news ever. You are waaaaay ahead of me on Fancy Forest. I have had 7 owls done for about a year now and also bought the kit, for myself LOL Elizabeth Hartman does have the best directions however, just a LOT of pieces. But sometimes other things in life take my priorities down a notch so it is on my UFO list until I can squeak it in. Please post how you quilt it to help us unartistic quilters who struggle with what to put where. : )

Congratulations!! Your blocks are so adorable. I made an Elizabeth Hartman pattern with just the rabbit in all purples as that is my granddaughters favorite color and she always asks for a bunny for a pet. It was so fun to make that pattern and it was so pleasing to see her face when I gave it to her. Please share a picture of your progress. Being a grandmother is the best job I have ever had.

Congratulations! Love that quilt pattern but unfortunately we don’t have any new babies on the way. Youngest grandchild is almost 14. I did buy the pattern for future use. I am so glad you mentioned it is easily followed! Your sewing room is to die for!
