I like it, but have you considered using it as a background for a bright applique? Just a thought...

I don't think that detracts that much but if it were mine & I didn't like it there are so few blocks I would be tempted to replace them with something else. Not too late yet as it hasn't been quilted. Worth thinking about.

One thing I liked about the pattern was that the boxes gave you places to practice different FMQ motifs, so I will quilt it and then decide how I feel about it.

I like it, and the bold one to me livens it up. Someone will be thrilled to have it.

It is a nice quilt...more modern than I tend to make. I hope you like it more after you quilt it.

I, too, like the bold print here and there. It's really a great quilt, and, yes, a charity would love to have it donated.

I'm not sure why you don't like it. I think it's lovely.

I think you won with this one Watson. I don't really like black and white quilts but, I like this one. It's different in a good way. I like the bold print too. I know some of my quilts that I think are duds have been loved by some of my recipients. It looks like you thought out of the box, and that's a good thing.

I like this quilt a lot! I don't see a single thing wrong with it. Someone, if not you, will love receiving it. Can't wait to see your "practice" FMQ on it. It will finish out beautifully!
