I would like to use photos, printed on fabric, in a quilt I'm making. Can you suggest a product that worked well for you, please? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have printed several photos, but prepared my own fabric because I found it pricey to purchase printable fabric if you are doing a lot of photos.
I think in the states, there is a product called bubble jet (I think). I used a different product but ordered it from a store in Toronto,Ontario,Canada. It worked great, however time is the true test of whether or not they fade. I would suggest washing the quilt using a very gentle detergent.

I have used "Printed Treasures" by Milliken, it is inkjet printable fabric. Since I have only used is on wall hangings and have washed it only once with good results but I can't say anything about fading. I know that there are many other types out there. My friend has even ordered some silk sheets for a wedding. There are many options out there.

I've used Bubble Jet Set, as well as the purchased treated fabric which is expensive and stiff, put through the printer, and heat set with the iron. Have also printed twice for depth of colour, and been lucky enough to not have it look like double vision.

Printed Treasures for me. My son washes his quilt often and tends to bake things, but the pictures are doing great. He does use cold water.

Thank you all! I actually have an unoped package of Printed Treasures and will go for it. I’m making a lap quilt for our 14-yr old granddaughter as a follow-up to a trip we took together. Will post a pic when done.

I have made 3 memory quilts using photos and tried the Printed Treasures brand, but they did not work for me. June Taylor washable sheets work well for me so I will stick with them. Good luck!
Go to Jordan Fabrics and check her method for using photos in a quilt. I used her method in the last photo quilt I made and it is great in my opinion. Sure beats measuring and making sashing for photos that are varying in size.

I have tried this method and it worked so well. The pictures were vivid and the fabric felt like taffeta or starched fabric. The link doesn't look like it works but if not you can copy and paste.

I have prepared my own fabric for printing used Retayne and Synthropol. They worked very well and you can even pour any leftovers back into each container.
