PamelaOry...I have such a hodge podge of plastic boxes and ziplocks...this looks so neat and tidy!

    Very organized, Pam!

Yesterday I was offered a large amount of fabric from the home of a woman who died of cancer in January. She was a quilter and her husband was trying to find good homes for all of her craft stuff. I did not know her, but was told to call the man by a friend. He was so sweet and only wanted to give the fabric (and books!) away. I told him they would be used for charity quilting, and they will. He said his wife would have liked that.

So... today I'm washing tons of loads of this fabric and then folding and pressing it. If I get lucky I can ruler fold it right after it comes out of the dryer... if not and it has deep wrinkles, it must be ironed. Lots of sorting. For now I'm just organizing it in the office boxes it came home in, but that works. I'm really anxious to make a few quick quilts, for starters.

You know taking in that excess fabric means so much to the family, SBG. It lifts a burden off of their shoulders. And you do such lovely work that you will do the fabric justice...Peace.

Thank you, OK... I'll try and do it justice.

A few days ago, I cleaned out my glove box, and just couldn't see shoving stuff all back in there, so I came up with this with fabric from my stash:

Very handy. Did you use heavy stabilizer for the compartments or use something else covered in fabric?

Great glove box organizer, JJBlaine. Would love to know more on how you made it.
