These are very sweet! And I'm sure they smell delightful. Good luck with the sale.

Those are wonderful little parasols. I just acquired a quart size bag of dried lavender from my friends I am visiting in California from their lavender farm. Sachets are a great idea.

Here you go; I found a youtube for the directions. Hope this helps. She makes hers from lace and only like a parasol but you could use the cotton fabric; make the parasol like she did; I might not sew the tip quite so tight so the pipe cleaner would go through it and sew the lace on the top; I have Tons of prepackaged lace I got from WM umpteen years ago when I was making my own square dance clothes; I have a huge bin Full! Then just fill with the lavender; tie a narrow ribbon around the top under the lace and cut the pipe cleaner to size and curve over - like a parasol. I think I want to make some - and get rid of some of that lace. I doubt I'd make a dent in what I have. Some if flat lace; some is gathered. What Was I thinking when I got all that. Anyway, hope this helps some.

Thank you sewnclog for posting that link. It is reasonably close on how I made them. I have had the pattern for over 30 years but no longer the directions. I have a good memory on how they are made as I did many dozens.

I hope the link helps those inquiring about them. Enjoy.
