I prefer the background green and think the paw print will be terrific on the back! The background green complements your blocks, I think, instead of competing with them.

Your quilt is adorable!

I vote for the cute, colorful paw prints for the border.
The pattern is Monster Mischief from More the Merrier Designs, www.morethemerrierdesigns.com. They had a booth at the Everett Quilt Show and this pattern seemed perfect for newly announced grandson due in November. My husband actually choose this pattern out of many on display.

I agree, the paw prints keep with the "theme".

I like the paw prints fabric for a border. It seems to liven your wall hanging up. The green is too bland and blends into the wall hanging too much. Cute wall hanging and share with us on your finished decision.

How about the green for the border with the paw prints for the binding? And paw prints for the backing would be great. Love the quilt and all the wonderful colors!

The colourful one on the right is a lot more fun looking!

I like the paw print. It fits with the lively motifs in the appliqués.
