I like the colors and the most important thing is that you will finish it and donate it so it will keep someone warm. It will be greatly appreciated.

It looks fine to me. It will be greatly appreciated by someone who needs a warm blanket. Trust me, that person will only see how beautiful it is.

Good luck with the finishing. We all start somewhere, and there have to be duds along the way so that we can learn from them to create the gems.

Oh my I am having an interesting time finishing quilting this quilt by machine. It is so much harder with the puffy wadding, I can imagine now how I ever hand quilted using it LOL. Anyway slowly and surely the quilting is getting done and I will post a final pic to show the end result.

Looks good, you could use it in a survival bag in your vehicle. Here in Oregon my husband and I keep blankets, two backpacks. One filled with socks, long johns and gloves along with a first aid kit. The other with snacks, coffee packets, a portable hiker's stove and two army mess kits. Both trucks have this survival gear at all times.

Using that quilt would make you the most stylish stranded motorist ever!
