I have a Zinck's within 40 minutes of me here in PA, not too far from all the Lancaster shops. It is great for finding bargains for backings, and we love their flat folds. I have gotten some great bargains on WOWs in 6 yard cuts. You have to buy the whole piece, but at $2.99 or $3.99 a yard it is a great deal.

I have stopped at most of the "larger" shops but I still drive past signs that direct you to little shops here and there that appear to be an Amish family business. I want to start looking at them also, just for curiosity sake and to perhaps support a local business. One never knows what treasures may be found!! Just around Shipshewana there are 4 or 5 that I recall on my drive in or out of town.

    Planning my Indiana Road Trip!

Just found out I'm heading south at the end of the month--a big U-turn trip. The great thing about this is I can have a southbound shop hop and a northbound shop hop. Thanks everyone!

P.S. Thanks for the update on some of the shops Battleaxe. I'll check them all out before I go for hours and location.

Fabric Utopia now at 2700 W.Wilden in Goshen.

Essenhaus Fabrics and Quilting store now in new place but still on Essenhaus campus. Within walking distance of where it used to be.
Thank you so much for the detailed info.
