Chantal, if the quilt comment was about mine, it is a version of Delectable Mountains with the solid squares of fabric added into the pieced blocks to make that sort of friendship star shape. Was in Quilter's Newsletter magazine about 20 years ago. It's fun working with large scale designs with shapes that are essentially HSTs, like all the ways you can set log cabins. Doing a search on Delectable Mountains brings up all sorts of ways to do it.

Oh my gosh, I love the fabric and the quilt. I've had the pattern for more than 20 years. My sister and I planned to make it together. She bought the fabric years ago and neither of us has started on it yet. Your quilt and these beautiful fabrics have inspired me to move ahead with the quilt. Thanks to you both for sharing.

I've never enlarged seams for woven fabrics. You might want to shorten your stitch length if you feel there could be a fraying problem. I do cut with scissors instead of a rotary cutter for these, but this may not even be necessary. I'd rather be safe than sorry later.
