Big quilt-small frame

How do you load a king quilt on a Gracie frame? Quilt top is aleady put together so cannot quilt in separate sections. Any suggestions?

I rolled one side over the end of the frame when making an extra large king. I then had took the quilt off and quilted the side that was not quilted and rolled up the quilted side. I have only done this twice and found it to be a great deal of work. Now make my quilts in sections and join then on my other DSM.

I folded over the side I wasnt going to quilt but the backing wouldn’t roll up straight

I re read your reply. So you just left the part you weren’t working to hang off the frame. Correct? If so, how far did you pin the backing to the leaders? I float my batting & top so I just need to get the backing to roll up straight
