juliasb-I just got involved and joined in February this year. I was asked the year before to join a group about 20 miles away. I first declined because I am so busy. Well, this year when they made my husband one I was so overcome I joined! I have made 9 tops, 60 x 80 for veterans, since Feb and one for my family 90 x 100, so I am still busy! Tell your sis she will enjoy the fellowship sewing with other ladies and the rewarding feeling when meeting the soldiers being awarded their quilt. Thanks to her for joining & for looking at their quilts here!

I am making this quilt as a wedding quilt using black & white galaxy bg fabric and each star different stellar fabric. The young couple spent their first date stargazing. My mind sees floating stars but not sure how to accomplish this feat.
You cannot quilt for a better cause. Thank you.

Nice work! Love the varied colors of the stars and in my opinion, any star quilt is a good quilt :-)

Very very nice quilt. I'm working on a rhombus quilt as well. Lots of points and challenges on this one. Hope you enjoyed working on yours. You should be pleased to know that someone will love and cherish it.
