Your quilt inspires me to try one. I had the Twister template years ago and gave it away before trying it out. Something else to add to my bucket list. Thanks!

I have not jumped onto the "twister" bandwagon, but I love your twister quilt! Absolutely perfect choices in fabrics and border design. Anyone fellow would love that quilt!

I simply love this quilt. I love blues.....I love doing twisters.......and this has inspired me to make another one. Is there a name to your pattern? And the border is just perfect. Thanks for showing.

I am making my first twister project, but wasn't happy with the plain edges. Your border using the scraps is perfect as well as a smart way to reduce the waste created by the cutting.

In response to the question about a pattern being outdated, I don't think any pattern will ever be passé as long as there are quilters coming into the hobby who want to learn new skills and improve their techniques by creating "classic" patterns. Every block pattern was new at some time and has been altered over the years, yet standards such as the log cabin will never go out of style, they will just be used differently or assembled in an easier way using all of the tools that are available today. Most important, they will always be made with love, and that will never go out of style.

I love your Twister quilt. It is one of my favourite patterns to make, quick easy to put together.

I thought that the graphic nature of the pattern would be good for a baby quilt, since babies do like that sort of thing. The border came together from the scraps created from cutting the blocks. It may be a while before I make this pattern again, but nice to know it's not passe.

Find another guild ... i bought the Twister ruler 7-8 years ago. Never have used it...soon....you inspired me!

Btw.....lots of quilt shops move on to other technique rulers when they “think” one has run its course. In my general area...one of the shops continues to stock the Twister rulers and supporting the sales with lots of patterns. New pattern continue to be released for the rulers. This is the “go to “ shop for Twister.

there is a Facebook group for Twister Ruler fans. It could use a shot in the arm.....no one has posted on it for quite some time.

I love your twister quilt. Your color choices are fabulous. I love making twister quilts, I've made 4 so far, all wall hanging Holiday related. Heart, bunny, pumpkin and Christmas tree. Now you've got me thinking, maybe I should tackle an actual usable quilt.

Your quilt is fabulous! Reminds me of a radar pattern of the eye of the storm.
