    I have this fabric, can’t think of the name right now but I have the layer cake. Is it Basic Grey maybe Mixology? Haven’t used it because it is very busy. That being said your quilt is lovely.

    Thanks! It’s called Basic Mixology, and even though It’s not something I’d buy for myself (the whole roll), I’m glad I was given it as a gift. I like it!

    If you skip the border - which I think the top does not need, unless you want the quilt to be bigger -

    for binding, my first choice would be one of the darker teals prints- because it would not show "handling" as quickly as a brighter/lighter solid color.

    For brightness, the bright orange is appealing to me.

    love the quilt! I think the quilt top is too scrappy to balance with a solid border, it may draw your eye to the border as opposed to the lovely pattern. have you considered a scrappy border or some sort? maybe piano keys or something else?
