    You're going to love it, once I got the bobbin case to stay in mine, found it makes a nice stitch, reverse is dead on, and handles heavy work. It seems to automatically adjust the top tension, turning the dial didn't change anything, and the stitch was good with both normal and heavy thread. Look at my profile pic to see mine, oddly it is 2 tone gray. It would be interesting to document the differences, though, I suspect the innards are the same.

    My husband was just given one of these, BUT there wasn't ANY info with it... is there any way that we could get a copy of your manual and talk to you??

    I recently bought a 614 but unfortunately no manual. Would it be possible to get a photocopy of yours?

    I have been out of town, sorry, will have to go through my flash drives to see where the copy of the manual is. i tried to make a pdf of my manuals so I would always have a copy of them.

    Hey sorry for the late to the game post, but did you locate the manual I picked a really nice 614 yesterday in bloomington, mn and am in need of a manual.
