We have lots of Rain in the winter here in my part of Oregon, with constant gray clouds most days. And only two inches of the white stuff one or two times a winter. Then we just stay home as there are very few plows. Be happy wherever you live and bless each day we are given. Joy to all.

Good Afternoon! I am new to the forum and just spent a more time then I should have reading through this entire thread LOL!!! I'm amazed by all the creativity and ideas for 2.5" square quilts! I even went home last night and started going through my drawers of scraps to organize and cut stuff down to 2.5" squares.... There's still a pile that needs to be pressed before I can cut them but I'm going to have a nice little stash of candies.

I am really hoping that you do this swap again next year and you will let me be part of it! It looks like so much fun and I would really love to make some of these inspirational quilts you have shared!

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you. You'll find all kinds of projects that you can participate in. If you run into any ideas for these candies feel free to share them. We all love new ideas.

What a pleasant surprise to receive the charms in the mail from Barb. I hadn't seen the post before they came. Thank you Barb! I love the colors.

The October candies were mailed yesterday.

I'm another winter lover! Summer is my least favorite season. I can't do hot muggy weather. I love watching the snow fall, the quietness of it, all the winter comfort foods. I'm lucky enough to work from home. My most favorite times are thanksgiving and Christmas early mornings because it is so quite and peaceful, no traffic on the roads.

As you can tell by my board photo, I like winter too. Not so much the cold but I love the four letter word that starts with S.

Welcome to the board! If you are interested in this swap you might want to participate in a few of the quicker swaps first in order to get to know people and earn a recommendation into this one. It being a year long swap, I believe barb requires that someone sponsor you.
