    Default scrappy quilt for dad

Well I just finished this scrappy quilt for my dad. This is the quilt that I was going to use warm and natural batting on - I had the top glue basted to the batting and my sister was pushing me to make it warmer because dad gets cold. So I doubled the warm and natural batting. Everything seems good so far - - I just hope that its not too heavy for dad to move it around; Its a throw size to use in his recliner

He grew up in Germany so I had my cousin send me some pictures from his home town. I had Spoonflower print them on fat quarters and I used them on the back.... so he will have some of his old home town with him.

So many mistakes!!!! please be kind I did the best that I could. I don't think dad will notice the errors

It's really wonderful, and made with love, how could that be less than perfect? I'm sure he'll get great use from it in the winter!

A Labour of Love for sure! What a fun idea to put those photos on the back as well.... a perfect cuddle quilt! A hug from his daughter when she's not around.

You have come up with a wonderful "Dads Quilt". I love it and I'll bet he will too. The colors he will love. Besides that, he will be warm under it in his chair.
