Default Which Vintage Pfaff goes with small cabinet bed opening?

I have a nice small Vintage Pfaff cabinet and would like to know which Vintage Pfaff machine fits in it. The bed opening is 14 7/8" x 7 1/8"..Thanks!

ooo, good question! I know when I was looking for a singer cabinet, not knowing what was in front of me headless I used the back pin measurements that the head uses to attach to the back of the machine. When looking on Craigslist, if I saw one that looked good I'd write and ask the seller to measure that for me. Of O remember right it was 10" on center.

I'm guessing that the cabinet would be for an electric machine. Those dimensions seem to be for a flat bed full size machine. I'm thinking that any of the Pfaff flatbed machines would fit. If a 30 (treadle) has been electrified, probably would fit. I think a 130, 230, 260 and probably some others as seen at http://needlebar.org/cm/thumbnails.php?album=190&page=2

Or you could do a search for images of Pfaff Cabinet and see if any are like yours and what machine is in them.

Thanks, Janey. Good Suggestions! Perhaps it is a regular flatbed opening for a Pfaff. Now to find a good vintage Pfaff. Any suggestions?

The Pfaffs I have heard good things about the 130, but I don't have one. One person quite happy with the 130 she got was NZquilter. You can find her thread at Thrift Store Find! I noticed post #21 that it is a favorite of Friar_Tuck

Good luck.

Yes, Janey, I sure do love my Pfaff 130! I use all the time and have never had a problem with it. I certainly lucked out finding it!
