That serial number should read Y6205911. I missed seeing the last one. Went back to check, but forgot to change the number on the post.

28K, one of 15000 authorized to build at the Kilbowie Clydebank Scotland plant on November 29, 1928. Great find!

It's doesn't appear to have been used much. The decals are still pretty good with the exception of the pin rash. It's probably been in someone's garage for a long time.

It was kind of an estate sale. The couple was selling everything and going on the road in an RV.

Boy, this is the week for collectors to be in Dallas. There are a bunch of old machines on CL.

looks like great potential... and 5 bobbins? wow. That shuttle is going to need some serious attention.

Anyone know the name of these decals?

The machine below was gifted to me by Bkay. My brother lives in Dallas and pick it from her at the begining of the year. I finally got to Dallas this Sep and picked it up from him. Had a great visit with my mom and other siblings and even went to the Texas State fair. Here you will find the after pics of the cleanup. She sews great and is a wonderful machine and will be used often.

I'm so happy to see it like that. I never dreamed it would come out that great! I'm glad you now have it.

That machine sure cleaned up nicely.

Did I notice a hand wheel change? Also could you tell me how large the part that goes in between the spokes is? I do not have an original Singer hand crank and I was wondering if there is a difference in that part and how they fit the different spoked hand wheels.
