Orange and white box is a shoebox full of cut fabric. If we have big crowds we fold a piece over, have them sew a seam and they have a bookmark. If the numbers are less, we pull out bigger fabric and have them sew a treasure pouch. About the size of a shirt pocket.

Sometimes we have an amazing number of seams that one person puts on a bookmark. if we have the time.

At the museum for Kansas Day we have three machines running, 3 demo folks and up to 1,400 kids come by. Of course, they don't all stop, but many do.

materialgrl, You are right on the money. It is used to take the casket some distances, and/or to hold it for a service.

I just modified it for a more joyous purpose.

You certainly are creative. I wouldn't have ever thought of any use for it. Clever!!!

I had been pondering a wagon/cart for a long time with very specific needs and never found one to my liking.

Might be a good idea but I am of the age where that would say "undertaker or funeral" to me.Just call me superstitious.
