Default Blues Brothers

I ordered this Blues Brothers snowmen fabric on line, intending to make pillow cases. Now that I have it in hand, I see that isn't going to work. What would you do with this piece? It is 2 yards by 45". I appreciate any ideas you would have. Thanks.

Because the blocks are big it would make a cute and quick winter throw. Just need some coordinating fabric for extra blocks. If you don't want to go that route you could make some quick two sided pillows.

That being said you could still do pillow cases but you may need to add a little fabric to get it to the right size. Those border snowmen would look adorable as the edge of the case.

It's really cute fabric, be sure to share what you do!

You could cut the blocks apart and add little borders to each block and make a lap size quilt or maybe even use 3 and make a table runner. Cute fabric. Good luck on your decision

Why doesn't the pillow case plan work? Size?

You could cut them in rows of two each. Sash around the two blocks to make the pillow case size. Use one set for the front and one for the back.

You could also use two blocks and quilt. Than make into shams.

Fun panel.

It's cute fabric... I'd make a donation quilt with it. JMHO

I would cut the squares apart and use matching fabrics to make at least a generous throw. Cute snowmen.

Add some squares to the sides, make a quilt. As I hand quilt, I would quilt each snowman, accenting their features!

This is a beautiful piece of fabric first of all. I would make it into a nice throw quilt and matching pillows. Using 6 of the snowmen and extra co-ordinating blocks. The other 2 snowmen for some nice throws. Nice and cozy for a cold winter day.

Seeing your fabric inspired me to buy the panel to make pillows. I have a granddaughter who plays the trombone and loves jazz and a grandson who plays saxophone. I’ll find someone to give the singer and the bass to.
