Default 7Up Pound Cake

I tried the 7Up pound cake but I used Cranberry ginger ale and Becel instead of butter that the recipe from Taste of Home called for. It makes a nice cake and I did it in my 10 cup Bundt pan. It called for glaze but next time I think I will leave it off.

It is not available within 25 miles of Plymouth, MI. Wonder if it will be available before Thanksgiving in the US?

if you Google The Taste of Home 7Up Pound Cake it will come up. The recipe is simple but the site has the directions and hints, 1-1/2 cups butter( I used Becel)
3 cups w. Sugar
5 lg. Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 tbs. lemon juice ( I left out)
3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup 7Up soda ( I used Canada Dry cranberry ginger ale)

Your cake looks delicious. Thank you for sharing where I can get the recipe. I don't know what Becel is?? Is that a substitute for butter?
