My stomach has a very loud alarm clock! food does not get forgotten....but there are times I wish I didn't have to interrupt quilting for food.

I have forgotten eggs on the stove I started frying. More than once. Yes, i have gotten so absorbed in sewing that I have forgotteN to cook or eat what I made if I did cook. Fortunately my hubby and son are easygoing and don’t mind cooking for us or fending for themselves. I usually realize I didn’t eat dinner when I can’t fall asleep hungry.

I've forgotten to drink my coffee or tea, forgot about the ice cold can of Pepsi sitting right in front of me, have forgotten to eat until fiance comes in with it in his hand. He's actually a really good cook so if I don't get to it, I don't have to worry about either one of us going hungry. Unless he goes on a weekend fishing trip, then I have to remind myself to stop and eat.

Totally cracking up at the MoBF!!! I burned some peas when I first started cooking and the made little carbonized dots on the bottom of the Revereware pan! That could have been the exhibit next to yours, lol.

Don't think I could ever forget our evening meal. First thing, hubby would remind me and then my stomach would have a say about it.

I am famous for burning up teapots. I used to get a new one every Christmas until they gave me a Staub. It is impossible to destroy. I now stay in the kitchen when I make tea or boil eggs and I have a timer that I can wear around my neck when I bake. I do forget meals when I sew..lunch especially...I lose track of time when I sew.

Since DH and I don't follow a clock anymore, eating is whenever one of us gets hungry. I have no idea what DH has eaten the last few days. Not my responsibility to feed him. I like to try new recipes and he likes to grill/smoke meats. There is always something cooked ready to heat up. Meals are not a big deal with us unless the kids are here so there is nothing to forget when it comes to cooking.

I forgot to eat my eggs this morning. But I have to walk past the stove to get to the bathroom just before I leave the house, so there they were. Cold eggs don't taste as good, but at least you get the food you need.

We got a solid 10" here. I just went out and cleared the snow. It came on Monday and it is now Wednesday and only 10f. I have to get out today for DH or I would not be going out at all. He has an appointment that has to be kept. I only got in one meal yesterday and am staying well hydrated. I am NOT shoveling any snow in the driveway or to the car. I can't with a bad heart. I did the ramp slowly as it came down many trips an inch at a time. Today is a nice day for knitting and hand stitching.

There are many times that I don't eat dinner until 10 pm b/c I was sewing away on a project. Pretty normal for me!
I could stand to lose some weight so skipping a meal would not be a bad thing for me.
